An A-Line skirt by TRICOT COMME DES GARCONS. Produced in 1999, the skirt is made from a thick, brown polyester tweed, with a layer of a white cotton lace over the top at the front. The lace layer is stitched into the side seams and cut slightly shorter than the main fabric, so that a small amount of the tweed base fabric is visible at the front and only the tweed can be seen at the back. Although the edges of the base fabric have been finished, the hem of the lace layer has been left raw and will continue to fray with wear. The skirt can be opened via a zip at the side seam.

Colour: Brown with white layer at front.
Composition: 100% polyester tweed, with 100% cotton lace. 
Condition: Excellent vintage condition, with minor wear.
